Born of Fire. A tribute to my postpartum experience.

1 in 7 women experiences postpartum depression and anxiety. That’s a high percentage but we never hear about it. I’m that 1 in 7. Painting has really played a large role in my healing. I knew I had to paint my experience. ‘Born of fire’. A light in the darkness. Fireweed symbolizing regrowth, hope, and strength.

I just want anyone going through mental health struggles, postpartum or not. I see you. Reach out. It gets better.
